Solo2 all day long mate. Transcoding feature, 1300 mhz processor, 1 gb ram, gigabit ethernet and much smaller and nicer looking than the duo.
It is so much faster than the duo at any tasks that require processor power.
I haven't seen any sellers selling the solo2 for as little as £234, so I woulld be wary.
They average at about £309 in the uk or about £280 from germany.

I've never heard of them to be honest. Looks legit but the price seems really low for a solo2, the cheapest I had seen was about £ 280 from germany.
If it is legit, it's a bargian though.

Free delivery too. Good bargain and much better than the duo.

Good idea. Also make sure it is a solo2 as the title says Solo, but the picture and description is of a Solo2.

If you have the money to buy VU+ solo2 buy it. Currently one of the most high performance receiver with two DVB-S2 on the market. Tuner has the same advantages like:
                - TWIN PVR HD receiver on Linux
                - 2 card readers and 1 CI slot
                - Ethernet and 3 USB
                - New fast processor 1.3 GHz Dual Core
                - absolute novelty - the successor to the VU + Solo

                  Re: vu solo2 or duo

Well I've had a look on their site and they have the vu+ solo as well for about £140, so it would appear that this is not a mix up. I've also emailed them to ensure that it is a solo2.
                  Just seems unbelievably cheap.
