Duo picture freeze but sound ok

    Duo with vix3 and cccam2.3.0

On hd channels I get freezing of pic but sound continues, is this a box issue or cline one? Have used a couple of clines and happened on both

Put it on a FTA HD channel like BBC HD. If there is no freezing then its not an issue with your box.

I have a genuine Vu+ Duo and there is definitely not a general problem with VU+ boxes. Prbably your server, or maybe your network speed?

Being in the u k you can determine 8 easily if it's a problem with the subscription I doubt it's a problem with the box....
if it's original box, update your CFE

If it freezes on the fta channels, check your setup (dish alignment, cables, connections). First make sure your fta channels (setup) is very good, only then start with encrypted channels and clines. My opinion ...

              hi bigdaz

fta channels are free to air, and normally shouldn't freeze in normal conditions (abnormal is eg heavy rain or snow). This fta channels have nothing to do with encryption or encoding, so if they freeze there's something wrong with your installation. So as I said: check your installation/setup. If you don't know how, best to ask an installer.
What's your signal strength and quality?

edit: are the same channels in sd without freeze?

i got a similar problem once on a ps3 and the fault was the cheap HDMI cable, so if you have a spare try it.

Just Reinstall the software. It will resolve the problem of freezing.

I use vix as well and have no problems at all on my solo2 or duo.
Make sure that you use vix freindly cccam which you can download from the vix website.

                        hi

fta has nothing to do with clines - but as said just to be sure the cline and/or image isn't the reason of the freezes: disable clines/internet and check if fta sd + hd) is ok
