    vu+duo + 2 fixed dishes

Ok I have 2 fixed dishes one on 28.2 the other on 19.2.

Can I connect 28.2 dish to lnb port a and 19.2 on lnb port b on the back of the box, without the need for switches.

If I can, can someone that has done it explain the setup.

    Cheers Guys

Yes of course you can. Thats the reason the dual tuner is there to be used with two dishes or one fixed and one motorised. You can use these tuners as you like. Its just simple setup. Stick one cable in first tuner and the other cable in the second tuner. There is no rocket science involved. In the setting select which one you are watching.

Yes mate. I have 28.2 and a motorised dish.
Set up tuner a and b both as simple, single satellite, one on 28.2e, one on 19e.
Make sure you get them the right way round, lol.

          Sorry no I'm not.
I got tired of seeing green screens so went back to blackhole. Think I was using vix 2.4 build 96 last, but I found it very unstable. I think vix 2.3 was better.

Have you tried any skins out on the blackhole image?
Why not backup your settings and try a skin or 2 out? Can totally change your image.

Hi zypheruk, Just to make a suggestion that you can always try out new things. One firmware will work for one user but the same version would be a total failuer for another user. If it didnt work for bokkie, doesnt mean that you can't try it. Always try different versions yourself and find the best one for you.
A Golden Saying: Always backup your settings before trying new firmware.

                Re: vu+duo + 2 fixed dishes

i dont have 2 fixed dish's, but i do have tuner a on a fixed 28e dish, and tuner b on a motorized set up.
works a treat, can zap back to sky, without it not having to move the dish all the time

Solo2 is using kernel 3.3.6-1.2 Openembedded core is same for all.
