Re: Vu plus duo freezes
hi Kwabena
Only on 'scrambled' channels or also on fta channels? Do you use an own channellist (scanned yourself or did you take one from a file or internet? Try to make your own channellist (always better, less problems, but takes a while to scan and sort out).
Try resetting the box and installing original soft/firm.Comment

Re: Vu plus duo freezes
How do you know it a clone or genuine receiver?
If it came with an rs232 cable, it's a clone.
Also, if you open the stb up and look at the 2 wires going into the on/off switch on the back. Originals are black and white, and I think clones are red and black.
Lastly, if you try and flash blackhole 1.7.6 and any vix build later than vix 2.3 build 155 and you get stuck on starting, it's a clone!Comment

This defect may have a lot of reasons.
-poorly fixed dish
-weak signal
-bad connection f-connectors
-bad unit firmware
-hardware failure of the receiver (power suply .. etc)Is my post useful for you? Please press sigpicComment

Re: Vu plus duo freezes
So does it keep restarting? Is it a clone or original?
Could be a power issue if it's a clone as they are known to have issues with power supply.
Try disconnect the hard drive and see if it improves.
Also sounds like a hard drive issue due to the message:
"The file <timeshift> Can not be loaded because is corrupted "Comment

Re: Vu plus duo freezes
Bokkie gives good advice here you have to do a process of elimination which means first thing to try is disconnect the hard drive and flash the box again with a clean image to see if it sorts your reboot problems, Remember one step at a time.Comment
