Re: Vu+ duo help and info needed!
Hi and welcome to the forum.
I'll inbox you a reputed seller of originals. Think they're about £290.
If you want encrypted channels you'll need a cline. You can get free ones here but the server you have access to is overloaded and glitchy.
You can also subscribe to the premium server here or elsewhere.
Do you have a static or motorised dish? -

Re: Vu+ duo help and info needed!
hi Digi87
Are you only new here (forum) or also new and not familiar with sats? If you're new into sats, I suggest you do a lot of reading here (surely in the VU+ section, as well in the others). If any questions, don't be afraid to ask, lots om members here with VU+ who can help you out.
Good luck!Comment

Re: Vu+ duo help and info needed!
You don't need a sub for your vu+ duo. Once you have the box you can use it for fta stuff.
If you want encrypted channels you either have to source free clines which can be very glitchy. Or pay a cs server a monthly fee ranging in price.Comment

Re: Vu+ duo help and info needed!
as bokkie said: freelines here or if you decide to take payserver (premium here or somewhere else) ask testline first to see quality, and if you're not sure: start taking a short subscription as eg 1 month (and not directly for a year or so)Comment

Re: Vu+ duo help and info needed!
If I were you i`d definately go for an original.
the price has fallen and there have been psu issues with the clones so I'm not sure the £100 or so saving is worth it.
just buy from a reputable seller.Comment

you will need to do a lot of reading, especialy if this is your first step on the satellite ladder, things always look confusing at first glance, but go motorised, you wont regret it, there a whole lotta satellites out there, i receive, 45e, 42e, 39e, 28e,26e,19e 16e,13e,9e,7e,5e,0.8w,7w,22w,30w, zee channels open free, on free lines here for me, there are subscriptions from servers, cheap as chips if you do homework.
good luck
