Re: duo 2
I have heard that the duo2 will be running linux, enigma 2.
There is another stb that is in development called the Prism Cube which will be running XBMC4STB but is still in the early development stage.
There is a video on youtube of it being demonstrated at Anga Cable.
As far as I'm aware the Duo2 will be enigma2. -
Re: duo 2
There were some early news around on Wiki, before the Anga Cable Exhibishion in Cologne, Germany that VU+Solo2 and VU+Duo2 will be based on XBMC Media Center. Probably it was the idea to turn the clones down.
Wiki has updated thier page now and they have removed the XBMC bit and have left it empty, so still a mystery! If you like my post, please don't hesitate to click on "Thanks"button. Thank youComment
hi i think i must of read it wrong thanks for putting me straight on that no reason to worry then.
Well I'm not 100% sure, but I think that xbmc4stb is still in the beta phase.
I don't think vu+ would stake their reputation on a very new, untried and untested platform.
XBMC Is great though. I have it on my htpc.Comment

Re: duo 2
any news on this decoder?
I found a video on youtube (bfEeW4HlefU)
but nothing is known about its marketing?
If you believe the reports and rumours going around then the Solo2 and Duo2 are expected to hit the shops around October time, I think it may be a little later due to how thay marketed the Ultimo and that was announced and then released around the 6 months markComment

Re: duo 2
600 will be out of range. But they would be difinitely expensive than the VU+ range, with better processor and RAM. As it will be new in the market so there will be very little support available on the web. I think I will wait until there are good reviews and better support. If you like my post, please don't hesitate to click on "Thanks"button. Thank youComment

Re: duo 2
Solo2 looks good with twin tuner and USB2.0. One thing i noticed that there is still no RF out. It helps to watch the TV in other room. Good quality Video senders or HD video senders are expensive. If you like my post, please don't hesitate to click on "Thanks"button. Thank youComment
