    Some channels have corrupted picture

    hi guys,

my vu+ duo has been running fine, but now i have woken up to another issue. Some channels work fine, but quite a few are corrupted. The picture can be in different colours (blue) or i could have horizontal lines on some channels.

If i press the epg button, i can see the picture perfectly in the top-right hand corner of all channels, so this can't be an issue on the other side and has got to be box related.

If i change to a freeview channel and then change back to the corrupted channel, then that fixes the issue.

You could be right mate. But how can I update to the latest version without losing my settings?

Also I made a full backup of the image a couple of weeks ago onto a usb stick, but when I try to restore, it can't find usb, so how do I restore it?

think you only got your box not long ago, if i remember comunication worries, perhaps a pm to bokkie or vimmers be useful, i only have non-linux box.
good luck, or ask in the vuo section if that your box.

Try sticking in a new channel list. See if that works.

With regards to your usb stick problem, i would copy your backup to your pc. Format usb to fat32.
Create a folder called vuplus in usb.
Create a folder called duo within vuplus.
put backup in the duo folder.
Switch off the stb at the back.
          Insert usb.
power on, and see if that works.

Have you tried checking the cables?

I think i saw on another site, that your problem has been resolved.
Could you please let us know how you resolved it.
That way anyone who has the same problem in the future can learn from it, instead of having to ask the question again.
              Thanks

It would also help to know if this is a Clone or original Receiver, Image corruption would not cause that kind of affect on a TV screen it would have to be something externally or internally with the Duo.
