Select Expert Mode and then awarded under Network / IP communication itself

        Re: ip address help

I hit the edit button on network test and it came up.
I have vu control centre installed and my question now is how do I enter my line in cccam?
It has cccam installed, think it's 2.2.1.
Do I use FTP on vucc to enter line? If so what goes where? My first attempt at this and it's all a bit confusing.

          Re: ip address help

Using ftp add the line on /etc/CCcam.cfg

If you don't have the file you should creat it and upload it to /etc

Depending on image the CCcam.cfg can be found on /var/etc or other path

You could start by looking at some of the tutorials and stickies in the cccam section, e.g.

Ok, so I've connected to vu duo via ftp on vucc.
I located the cccam.config file in the etc folder.
Right click, edit and then a page opens with loads of stuff written on it. Do I just copy and paste the whole cline like this:
              C: cccam.satlover.com 1***7 F*****E_A******D www.satlover.com no { 0:0:3 }
Is that what I have to do? where does it go?
              Anyone help me out please?
Other than this hiccup, the box is ace :)

bookie i would imagine so, try it if it don't work open the file and delete that line again and save.
you can always make a backup of the file before you edit anyway.
                if im not mistaken

                  Re: ip address help

Problem is I have seen it described diffferently. Where you use one part of the line as username, another as port, another as password and one as host.
It is all very confusing for a newbie.

I've had a breakthrough and managed to do it. Pleased as punch now I know how to enter a line.
How do you mean tweak the line? Can you edit the last bit to tweak it?

                        Re: ip address help

The (0:0:3) just limits the number of Hops allowed so you should connect to cards with less then 3 hops so should be less glitching, also why don't you make the IP address on the box to static then it will remain the same all the time and for the lines to work you can delete allof the other text out of cccam config makes it easier.
Next mate is a prio file but we will come back to that later.
