Vu+ Duo clone: what next

Ok, so my Vu+ duo clone is arriving tomorrow. I believe it is arriving with ic update, latest blackhole image, CCcam and channel list all installed.
Now what do I have to do to enter the cline?
Do I have to activate the soft cam? Where does the cline go?
I have read up a bit, but am a little confused. Do I do it over network or via usb?
What else do I have to download/install, bearing in mind that it is a clone?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi download Filezilla (google it) set it up to connect to the box ip address user name is root and dont enter a password, connect to the box double click on the folder etc and look for cccam.cfg right click and select view delete all text in there and then enter your lines exit save and then upload back to the box when prompted.
It should work if the cline is good. If you need help setting up the network on the box just ask. I don'y want to nag but remember first back up your image.

First option when you open the menu Blackhole full backup, this opens a box press the red button and their you go.

First off there are no softcams in Blackhole unless who ever put the image on for you has already installed them, you will have to get these yourself.

as your a newbie to linux you might want to have a look at the VU Control centre frontend program it has everything you will ever need and is a very easy to work

Box arrived today, looks sound. I've fitted the hdd, easy enough. When i get home i'll plug it in and have a play.
