Unfortunately, for all the good things about vu+, dreambox, etc.
They can't quite match sky+ hd box for series link, ease of use, (wife proof) etc.
That's the only reason I've still kept the basic sky package.
There are series link plugins that can be used with the Duo and i cant see how harder it is to bring up the guide on the duo and highlight the program you wish to record and press green almost the same as a sly+ box

Are the plugins proper series link, or just timers?
If there was a schedule change, would it pick it up?
i still think the sky box is the easiest to get used to.
No reading up required, just plug it in and away you go.
now if only i could get it to do what my duo does ;)

...and if only the Duo was as pretty. :)

I had an ugly solo before I moved to the ME and have never looked back. :)

Re: vu duo clone.

Well I've just flashed a new image, the vix 2.3 kernal 3.1.1 version.
Installed tspanel, got ccccam up and running and only took about 30 minutes.
Not bad for my first time :)
I love the new image. So much more user friendly than blackhole IMO.
EPG is brilliant, also think it's less in your face than blackhole is.
Great job team Vix!

Bokkie where did you download the vix 2.3 kernal 3.1.1 image and was it just a straight flash considering we had the latest kernel with our boxes and the blackhole image.
Been looking around and see loads of images just dont want to screw it up or wife will be on the war path.

Cheers
