Starsat 2000 hd??

Hello everyone, I bought a starsat sr-200 hd ( F/W V 1.59 ) in July in Tunisia but I've a irritating problem..

When I watch a pay channel ( as fox etc ) the video quality is really poor while when I watch a free channel I don't have this problem..

How to solve this problem?


PS: Internet connection is very fast and I live in Italy..

View Menu -> System Setting -> OSD
then Change : * TV System => PAL
* HDMI Mode => 1080/50I
* TV System Format => 16:9 Full
You must have a HD tv set !!!

Current Receiver Firmware is 1.62.

Do you mean the video quallity get bad like you have picture but it is bad qualiy, or is it that the picture freez when whatching pay tv. IF that is the problem then it is your server connection problem and not problem with the picture settings. I think that receiver do have a 1 ear free service that should be very good and stable servers.

I think that your problem is your server.
Your internet connection can be fast,
but if your server has problem
you will watch with pixelization and freezes.

Also you can try to update your firmware to a new one.
Many times, the cause of the bad quality in video or audio is the software.

pls cant upgrade on starsat 2000 hd
at the moment ios original 1.54 from 2011
not possible to upgrade
i need break it to update

As @duhoki said, you have tell us what exactly happens when you try to upgrade.
Do you take some error?
Do you use the right cable?

Just follow the page that @duhoki suggest you and download the newest firmware.
Then try to flash your box with the cable you have.

Fadi, firmware update might not change anything visual, but it will improve and add new features to the receiver. Go to setting-->About and see what firmware version your receiver is on after updating to latest firmware. Is it still showing the old firmware version number? Do you get confirmation about that the update is finished?

Did you flash your box with wrong software?

Does your receiver working properly?
Can you watch any channel on your receiver?
