CS with Humax5400

Hi, since my humax worth just about 35 euros, I'd like to test if I can get work with the CS, just client.

This first one can't work because it's an emty threat there for possible updates.

Hi minoltista,

Your humax 5400 box is good for the purpose you mention so you can use it as a client. First of all, you will a need a pc with internet connection on it. Then connect your pc with your receiver by using an rs232 cable. On your pc you have to run a special app. You can download the app, just search for "Humax 5400 CSharing Box.Upd.1...15.01.2013". This is the latest app and you can also find the settings for it. The only disadvantage of this configuration is that you have to run your pc during watching tv so it means more power consumption.

It's very usefull.
I supposed I could use just a humax for cs.
The use of pc is not defitely worth the cs on hummy.
