Does anyone know anything about HomeCS?

I noticed it is available as a plugin available for download. I have never heard of it. I'm interested though in what it can do.

Is anyone on the forum actively using it?

The two websites I have found are both "non-english". I can understand a little German, but not enough to understand the websites.

I've checked the other forum posts and seems to be just an acronyms for Home Card Sharing, defining HOMECS as sharing in a house/apartment so connected via LAN and not WAN....

It's definitely a plugin that can be downloaded (and configured). But it overwrote some of my config files when I tried it so I'm not keen to experiment any more until there is some more info available on it.

A plugin for what ? DVB cards ? Dreambox ?

Whatever the plugin is, it should also work on a Dreambox.
