SRT 4930 and Intelsat 19 W. Australia problem

    Hi
I have strange problem with my Strong SRT4930 satellite receiver. I aligned it with Intelsat 19 satellite to watch FTA ex Yugoslavian programs using SatLink finder and it works fine on it. But when i hooked back on SRT 4930 receiver it showed no signal nor level just a few bars. I should mention that there s no Intelsat 19 in database and I had to create one.

The strange thing is it works perfectly on higher frequency such as 12726 H and symbol rate 28066 on the same satellite but it shows justg a few bars on following frequencies:

    freq 12286 H
    symb.rate 28800

    and

    freq 12527 H
    symb.rate 30000

What could be a reason for this? I tried older Strong model from my friend and it works fine even though we had to create Intelsat 19 since its not listed in database just like in my.

    The system information is:

    Model SRT 4930
    Card reader 1 connected
    card reader 2 connected
    s/w version: 1.06p (jan 12 2011)
    h/w version 1.00
    boot version 5.20
    ch version Ao21

    Thanks in advance

Is there a way around it?

      thanks

      All fixed now.
It was faulty LNB. Bought new universal one and everything works fine. All frequencies working.

I also found out how to update to new firmware. Its with USB thumb drive choosing option "Storage" in settings.

      cheers
