how to input a sky hd boxkey into a spiderboxhd9000

hello satlovers,

i was searching for info on how i turn my sky hd serial number into a boxkey, i found some helpfull information on this forum,

however i am completly baffled as to where /how i input the boxkey into my spiderbox.

i know absolutly zero about newcam or ccccam , i just want to try my sky card with sbox.

Your card should work without box key ,try your card it should open most channels for premium ones you need to put in the box key,i might be wrong but menu for this might only appear in network after you put the card in.
This is supposed to be a good boxkey converter..

You can't use your card in another sky HD box, You will need to call sky to pair your card with another box. People used to insert one card in many sky boxes whichever they wanted to watch but sky changed the rules a few years ago and now you need to call sky everytime you insert your card into a new sky box.

I think he wants to use it in his spiderbox,it does work if you get the serial number from the bottom of the sky box the card was married to ,then use the box key converter to enter number into the spiderbox ,then the card thinks its paired to the correct box,it seems others are doing it and running newcamd server from their spiderboxes,or just watching with official cards.

Not done it myself but have seen posts discussing how to do it ,i cant remember where in network you enter the key ,perhaps the card needs to be in before you enter network for the option to appear, and have the latest patch installed.

Hi Rugrat,

It is very simple - on the remote control press:

Menu, then toggle left/right to the accessory menu,

Below USB it should say NDS (if you have put your card in correctly) toggle down to this option and press enter.

Then press the RED key, enter your key, save and exit.

To check it has worked correctly try viewing a movie or sports channel.

It is very easy to do i have mentioned how to do this in one of my posts before but all i will say that i have had no luck with the sly card auto updating in the spiderbox it still needs to go back in the sly hd box once a month to update the card

thank you all for your replies, it seems my card must be faulty inserting card into my sky hd box it is not recognised by the box.

so i will have to contact sky for another card.
