You are right i will be turning the box off at night and i will be keeping a close eye on the box to see if it develops any problems in the future

Just got the spider box back he could find no problems with the power supply and the display is back to normal he said it may well of been a power surge so i will just have to wait and see what happens

yes i know i cant find anybody else with this problem very strange i have had a quick look in side the box and can see nothing wrong a friend of mine is a electronic engineer i will get him to check it out i still think its a power supply problem

Seems rather ironic when most of the people who have bought the new 9900 are complaining that the front panel display is too dim to see from across the room and they are looking for ways to make it brighter.

The box was working fine it is unplugged at the moment until i can check the power supply

I think that would worry me too! You are doing the right thing in having it checked out,
Is the box working OK apart from this ?,unplug it at night just to be safe.

Yes it has eco mode and it was on, The led display was very bright almost double the normal brightness

Does your 9000 have the Eco mode on it ? if so is it possible someone has turned it off ?
seems strange that it should just happen.

I have decided to turn the box off and get it checked out i think it may be the power supply playing up

For some reason the display on my hd 9000 has become very bright i have turned the box off then back on and its still the same i am worried something is wrong before its always been dull

I see the ethernet is down on the spiderbox atm been down for two days now

After you put in the 12 lines you can identify which one is running by pressing the PR button followed by the info button and it will tell you which line is running.
