Hi guys, I just joined up here.
I have a 5000SD but thinking about getting a 9900HD but then I saw on here about faulty ones? Whats the problem?

Have you tried the "Daddy Pig " technique, turn off with remote, turn off with little switch at back, unplug, then after 30 minutes reverse all steps.

Also HD needs slightly higher signal strength, what quality are you getting?

I must admit if your internet connection is working fine i would say that it is a problem with the server but just try another hdmi lead and see what happens

If your SD payed channels are working and its just your HD channels. Then it aint your equipment m8 it has to be your server.

Any possibility of overheating ? box would be working harder on HD channels and as it is happening on different sats maybe worth checking.

All you can do if you know the servers are good is check router make sure ping time is low turn off spiderbox at switch at the back and switch back on are your ecm times low

Hi toby 69, my FTA HD channels are fine on 28E, any HD channels clearing with line are completely un-watchable this evening, constant freezes.

Hi toby69 my HD channels are working fine on 28 east on my hd9000 but i will say that a lot of over channels are becoming unwatchable because of constant freezes and high ecm times

My HD channels are ok m8 might be your server toby. Is your SD channels alright if so scan a HD transponder see what happens good luck Toby.

hi my friend redhezuk,
just a question for yourself, are you experiencing any problems with hd chns on your spiderbox, dont watch much tv myself but wifey brought to my attention last night, problems receiving hd chns,(on 28east), just thought i would ask before start checking equiptment here???
anyone else using spiderbox also throw in there comments to.

i have ethernet turned off compleatly, you never know what might come down the wire.
better options if people search.
end of subject for me.

Totally agree toby, I've had mine switched off for around 18 months now and haven't looked back!

my Ethernet is switched off and will stay that way i am happy just to use satlovers line at the moment and still make the most of the spiderbox

Wise words they are all out to make a fast buck think we should all put the ethernet option to sleep .
I signed up to Kermits multy sat server last month big mistake,seems not bad on 28E but other sats geez its the worst ever ,infact satlover free clines off server four are much better,iam getting by but next time i will look before i jump.

Noticed the TNT van at my buddies door bringing him a new spiderbox today so will have that to set up tonight ,so all is well that ends well thanks to Jimi ,otherwise who knows.
