openbox rebooting

Hi, Can anyone help my openbox sometimes starts to reboot on when I put in some clines. I know there are some channel issues but I am not on the ones which are troublesome. And as I said it only happens when sometimes I have changed a cline. I have put the latest software on it. Could it be something in the latest software??

I did contact the seller, but he said I had put the wrong software on it
No I have not!!

Have heard of power supply issues with Openbox clones. But that doesn't explain why it happens when you enter a cline. How often does it happen? Once it reboots is it then ok?

I have the same issue today, Premium Server C-Lines is not working makes my box reboot when active. Yesterday they where working fine.

Free Server Three C-Line is working okay without any problems.

A suggestion what ever firmware you have if there is newer available
use that or go back to a prior firmware.
If you still getting the problem the next thing to look at is how hot your
openbox is getting might need a extra fan and finally if still getting the
problem then look at the power supply.

Hi, I have tried diffrent firmwares without any solution.

I know Openbox/Skybox have issues with heat and power consumption.
But I'm pretty sure thats not the problem with this issue.

I'm more sure it's the CCcam client in the box that don't like to get faulty packages sent from CCcam servers.
It's only certain servers that produce this error/reboot.

I'm going to try to run a TCP/IP trace to try to see what makes it fail.

I think I have replicated this fault if all the people that are having this
problems are using a premium line then I think there is some problem
with the server.
I disconnected my internet connection then disabled the line causing
the problem rebooted connected internet again I then tried one of the
free lines and problem is gone.

Something for Mr. Satlover to solve?

Yeah that's the same issue that I'm experience.
Glad you could replicate the error so it's not only me experience this problem.

I can't use my personal C-lines for the Premium Server today. I'm sure there is some kind of miss configuration of the server. Anything that has been done today to the server.

I've tried to connect to the server with Gladiator SSSP, it connects but it gets error messages in the log about wrong packet size issues. I guess this is why some CCcam clients seems to have problem to connect to the server.

Hope Satlover can find the issue on the server end.

Right guys!
*The power supply problem only affect the motor. Whenever you try to move motor with it the box reboots. If there is no motor then the box is fine. So even if the box has a faulty power supply so without a motor it will not affect the box performance with a cline.

*When the servers are busy, it makes the box freez and then results in a reboot

*There are many versions of firmwares available with different version of CCcam in them, As openbox is a closed source box therefore you can not change CCcam only, You will have to change the whole firmware. Some CCcams would also cause the box reboot if they are not compatibe with the server. Therefore if your box experiences many reboots then it's time to Downgrade and Upgrade the firmware.
Always to remember New firmware doesnt mean good firmware!!

Hi microchick that is what I thought as well at first but as I previously said the problem seems to be premium cline even when used at off peak it caused the problem and even using the cline from server 3 did not cause this probem.
Therefore I think it is some server config problem.
ps. even while watching FTA the Openbox rebooted when this line was in the Cccam.

As we have tested before that there is no activity between the box and the server when watching a FTA channel.
Try to find another firmware which works well on your box. I had lots of freezes and frequesnt reboots when i didnt have access to server 2. When I started getting reboots with Server 2, I downgrade the firmware and its fine since then. Very few reboots after that.
One more tip, Lets say for example we both have S11 doesnt mean that if one version is working for me so it will work for you too. Your S11 might work well on another firmware version.

Mr satlover did a update now on different port I have tested and found the problem has been solved.
