Looks like they are supplied for a Sly dish system, but no problem that I can see to take the fitting off and use it. It also looks like it may have a 23mm collar so you may need an adapter to take it to 40mm for most offset dishes.

      Hi Tizer

I don't have this lnb, but from some pics on the net that I saw it's a usual lnb and I can't see anything to worry about.

It looks like a normal lnb.

Also I read that it's a good quality product.

The Zinwell Quad was made specifically for the authorised sky dish which as you know is an elliptical shape (EGG) the matching Sky LNBs are also 'EGG' shaped internally by this i mean there Feedhorn so that the LNB gets the maximum signal from the elliptical shaped dish.

a standard LNB as used on most offset dishes use a Round feedhorn , This will then illuminate the whole of the dish to get maximum signal quality.

If you used the Zinwell on an Offset dish due to its 'Egg' shaped feedhorn you will more than likely only illuminate around 70% of the dish so in effect if your dish was 1m in size with the Zinwell it will only perform like an 80cm, A standard LNB will give you 100% illumination of the whole dish

          Hi mobley3 kalpikos digicon
i thought with the feedhorn being egg shaped i would not get full cover of the dish, so i will not be using it on my metre dish i am glad i check with you guys before i fitted it

          regards tizer
