no signal in both LNB or cable broken?

After a rain no signal anymore on the 3 installed LNB's.

Normally I have a green signal that shows that channels can be received, and another colour (almost orange) that is for showing that the LNB is connected and is receiving electricity (I think?).

But two (astra 1 and 3 ) have no life and only one has the orange signal but no green signal.

Could it be the cable that is in the ground from the switch to the receiver?

    Or maybe broken switch?
or the cables from switch to LNB's?
    or the LNB's themselves?

These are not that old LNB's , maybe half a year, they are Inverto Black Premium Single LNB's.

would rain cause the warranty be invalid?

Water can do the strangest things I'm afrait.

Make 100% shure that all componets are dry, than test again.

Yes, rain damaged cause warranty to be invalid.
You can always try to swap it under waranty if no damages are vissable.

I would think the chances of 3 Lnb's all going at once would be very remote, and I think you would have to be very unlucky for this to happen, more likely cable connection,or Dish shifting out of alignment. Try to get hold of a straight through barrel connector, not expensive, and use this instead of the switch to rule out problems here. Unfortunately it really is a process of elimination. when your signal is sorted seal all connection joints with self amalgamating tape.

I think you have a faulty switch.
Try bypassing it with a short cable or patch connector.

For me as first thought: dish has turned a bit, perhaps in wind.
Check if you can move your dish by hand left/right or up/down.

            Hi mate

I think that you have a broken switch.
The rain can cause damage to the switch if it's without cover.
Try to connect directly one lnb with the cable that comes in your home and test it.
Don't forget to make the necessary changes in the settings of your receiver in order to use only one lnb.

Perhaps the easiest way to find the failure is to check the complete system step by step. Do what kalpikos said and use the lnb with the orange signal. If it's still orange without the switch (which means the switch is ok), check perhaps the cable/plugs at the dish and then the dish position/adjust.

Re: no signal in both LNB or cable broken?

Problem solved, I was the cable from the switch to the receiver.

the cable is in the ground (garden) but bad protected. I think it's 6 month underground.

could some kind of animal have bitten the coax cable?

I still can't figure out why one LNB shows a signal that it is connected???

switch is covered with the associated plastic protector.

Good logic thaught to say that not all 3 lNB would be broken at one time.

                Thanks everyone.
