    Re: lnb quality

Yes a decent lnb is important, but so are dish size, good quality cable, receiver, etc.
You need to get everything roght to get the most out of your dish and reciver.

also its important special sat signal because some signals are so weak
however you buy orginal lnb that they have more sensitive to signals

I too use an Inverto Black Ultra on a 1Mtr Dish. While some cheap Lnb's may give acceptable results on some occasions and on some transponder frequencies the fact is that the better performing Lnb's will be a lot more stable across all of the frequency band instead of just performing well at a particular frequency, this can help when a larger dish is not a viable solution. Paying attention to setting up the Lnb is also a major part of the process.

          Re: lnb quality

There are many parts resposible for the signal quality.
In my case I use 30m cable from dish to receiver, so I need a good lnb to receive hdtv.
A good lnb is not too expensive so don't save your money on the wrong end!

many experts are saying that up to 50m of cable is acceptable in terms of satellite signal qulity

I am also using Inverto Black Ultra. LNB , dish size and quality, STB tuner - all are
responsible for good signal recieving. For me - LNB affect only signals which are recieved in critical level ( ie recieved with pixelization ). Personally I can not find any differerences between 0.2 , 0.3 and 0.4 dB LNB's.

Of course you can't find any difference my friend,
because the whole story is pure marketing!
Even if they reach these numbers, it is only in a very narrow frequency range.

There are lnbs with 0.3 and 0.2 dB with better performance than others with 0.1 dB. The quality of the lnb varies from one manufacturer to another.

Only some Laboratory test can find the facts about Quality, Users only can experience in weak signals Area

                          Re: lnb quality

There's a simple test for the performance of your lnb:

Move your lnb (if possible) a bit out of the focus so that the signal gets weak, but that you can receive the transponder. Now notice the signal strength and the snr.
Now change the lnb (in the same position) and you can see what signal strength and snr you have now.

So you can compare and see which lnb is better.

                            Re: lnb quality

                            I suggest one other test

Go to your local shop and tell them to give you for test 2-3 different lnb's.
When you return to your home make some tests with each lnb one by one watching the same channel.
I'm sure that you find differences betwen them.
Keep the lnb that you saw any improvement of your signal and return the others.

Word of mouth or recommendations is good as well. I personally find iinverto black ultra to be very good, for the price.
