I recovered an old connector and an antenna from a broken router
should be made a small hole in the plastic and the two welds you see in the picture
The advantages are many, for example, be able to change the type of antenna and also to position, with an extension at another point.
In this way I solved signal problems

Did this mod solve the signal cut off problem all the ones i have used would have a strong signal then it would drop down to nothing

Vonet is a Wifi Bridge.
This is the best method for providing wireless Internet connection
to any electronic device that requires an Internet connection
as is a dreambox or others receivers with etherthet port.

Our friend has made a wonderful mod for better signal.

I know someone who has made a small parabolic dish made of tin foil, which
sits behind the antennae of the wifi bridge, they tell me it greatly improves the
wifi signal although I am not too sure if it would work.

Interesting option is the router tp-link WR743ND with WISP function. Price the same as for Vonet.

@luk4asz vonet bridge is something different
with this device you can add wifi function to a laptop or a receiver.
It's not for sharing wifi. This is done by a wifi router itself.
Vonet take the signal from a wifi router and give it through the cable
(ethernet or usb)to an other device.

I found on the net the specification of this router and you are absolutely right.
This tp-link router can do the same work as vonet at the same price
but has more functions and abilities as it's both access point and router.

The brass/copper welding (grey wire) is clear.
The other welding (transparent wire) is unclear.
Can you send more pictures or explanation?

I am interested in this mod too because i have never really had much luck with the vonets bridge so any more info to make this useable again would be great
