Re: what's the best LNB ??
lately I have changed my old lnb with inverto black ultra an I saw a little bit signal increase.
I woluld like to remind you that changing your lnb will never make a "big" difference in your signal levels. it is mostly antenna size that effects signal level. if you want big increase in your signal levels change your antenna with a bigger one. if you receive some important channels near freezing limit first check your antenna alignment. then change your lnb if you dont have enough space or dont want a bigger antenna. your new lnb may reduce freezes by increasing signel level to a little bit more above the freezing limit.Comment

Re: what's the best LNB ??
Inverto black ultra lnb is good choise, but if you want to improve your signal i recommend to buy bigger dish.Lnb alone not improved the signal much.Oscam Section Voting : http://www.satlover.com/forum/site-b...m-section.html

Re: what's the best LNB ??
INverto is simply the best for LNB. I have test it a lot of models but Inverto is superior to other brands. Beside LNB for good reception I Strongly recommend biger dish size more than 120cm and Inverto lnb o.1dbCLICK ON THANKS

Re: what's the best LNB ??
I agree that Inverto are the best LNB's. I've tried several brands and the Inverto's seem to be that little bit better on weaker signals.Comment

Re: what's the best LNB ??
My Experience :
I was using Eurostar .5db LNB on my Hotbird Dish from last 4 years.
Recently I replace it with GOLD-STAR 0.1db with 70% gain. With the new LNB, the signal level on my DM500HD is ~62% where as earlier it was ~45% only. No I can receive channels like BBC HD which was not available on my old LNB.
Suggestion - Go for 0.1 db & Gain >70DBComment

Re: what's the best LNB ??
I have a dual lnb on my 1.8m dish, when I got it I replaced the internal voltage regulators with a Zetex part designed for lnb's, to have low noise to 200Khz. Ultimately it's not the noise figure of the lnb that really matters, it's the signal to noise ratio that's important and for that you need a bigger dish.My lnb is still working very well 14 years on. I agree with an earlier post, gain and noise figures are related, more gain = more noise check the figures before you buy. It's also not just the size of the dish that matters but how accurate it's shape isComment

Re: what's the best LNB ??
Can anybody suggest a C-band LNB which can rectify the WIMAX interference in c-band frequency ? ( A lot of people can't receive C-band channels since the wimax internet service started in our area )Comment
