dream is the best.
you can change in future with dream hd models,also keep the DM7000

For those of us who started early 2000, Humax 5400 remains the best.
Its still not bad for CS....only that you need a null cam cable with a computer attached all the time.

Humax 5400 was my best receiver, power supply went so did not repair. Still being used by many after so many years !

Ohh and I miss my Philips d2mac

5400zplus my Humax is still a very good receiver
openbox but now I have a s10 and it works also properly
I have dreambox 800HD original and do it very well

You got me interested...I started way back in 1996 with an Amstrad Analogue Receiver and then I never looked back.....I have had a Provision Analogue Receiver, an Echostar receiver, an Echolink 700 Fta which I still update up to this very day. Nowadays I have 2 Clarke-Tech 5000s HD Receivers, a Dreambox 800 HD (which I sold) and 2 Dreamboxes....8000HD and a Dreambox 800 se...all originals plus 4 Dishes.

Most loved Box for me all the time is the Nokia D-Box 2. Bought it for 10 Euros patch it because it has the Betanova crap on it and put the Glj-imgae works for me the best.
