Re: Two receivers on one LNB

    hello

Can it be confirmed that with a quad lnb you can look at 4 different boxes at 4 different channels? In my case: 4 x quad lnb's to look at 4 different boxes even at different channels and on 4 different sats - so with only 1 dish?

Would like to know (future moving of my dish).

    Thanks in advance

why not have a go, always thought quad lnb was for 4 boxes, ie for multi-room viewing.
Do not send me iptv/cline requests,

The first solution won't work. When you use a splitter you dont actually split the signal. If you are using two receivers at the same time. You can only watch Vertical polatity or Horizontal polarity channels at the same time. You can not watch vertical on one and horizontal on the second one. You will need to put one receiver on standby to watch all the channels on the second receiver. Sometime putting one receiver still doesn't work for all the channels so you will have to unplug one receiver, depending on the circuit of the receivers. Sorry if it has been covered earlier.

You are right, there is a difference but as I said earlier that you can not watch everything at the same time on two receivers if you use a splitter. You can watch only all verticle or all horizontal. Trust me I have tried it

i suggest a disecq switch works better than a classic "T" switch

You wont use a diseqc switch for one LNB with two receivers. Could use a dual or quad LNB as stated earlier
