    Connect Two LNBs to Two Receivers

    An LNB (Low Noise Block) is the active part of a satellite dish that transmits TV programming to a receiver so it can be watched on television. A satellite dish equipped with two LNBs can be used to connect a pair of receivers for viewing TV in two different rooms. However, a satellite dish with two LNBs processes only half of the available channels through one LNB and the other half through the second LNB. Use a multiswitch device--available at electronics stores--to allow each of your two receivers (connected to different TVs) to access all of the available channels.

    Things You'll Need:

    * Coaxial cables with threaded couplers on both ends
    * Multi-switch with coaxial jacks, available at electronics stores
    * Composite AV cables

    Instructions

    1.Locate the LNB jacks on the satellite box at the point where the cable from the outdoor satellite dish enters the building.

    2.Connect a coaxial cable to each LNB jack, turning the threaded coupler on the cable clockwise.

    3.Attach the other end of each coaxial cable to the jack labeled "LINE IN" on the multiswitch. Tighten the couplers by hand to secure each cable to the jack.

    4.Connect a coaxial cable to each "OUT" jack on the multiswitch. When hooking up two receivers, connect a coaxial cable to "OUT 1" and a second cable to "OUT 2." Multiswitches with additional "OUT" jacks can be used to connect additional receivers in other rooms, if desired.

    5.Hook up the coaxial cable from each "OUT" jack to the "COAX IN" jack on the back of the satellite receiver.

    6.Insert the yellow, white and red plugs on the composite AV cables into the matching color-coded "AV OUT" jacks on each receiver, then connect the plugs on the other end to the matching "AV IN" jacks on the back of your TVs.

    Re: Connect Two LNBs to Two Receivers

    You need two dual LNB to make it working ok If you use two single LNB then you can recive 1 Sattelite on each reciver otherwise you will have conflict with signal.

    so you need lnb like this
