hey guys just one more questions thats off topic, is a fritzbox really necessary for cardsharing (only client)?, my friend asked me this question and i wasnt really sure i saied, no, but only if the router has a option to stay connected 24/7, which is the case by a fritzbox, it only does 1 reset a day but that u can pick at whatever time u want it to happen... but i cant really think of a nother router that does that :/

a fritzbox i not necessary... u dont need to open ports or whatever... and the 24 h intenet reset have no effect to cardsaring... u will only have max. 10 second blacksreen... so try to connect to the internet at 2am, so the reset is always at 2am... the only thing u need is internet and a free port on ur router / switch / hub

Aye all routers will works well, I know in Germany providers resets connetions at 2 AM all days, this is weird in Italy it never happens, you can have the same ip for days and days, it changes just if line brokes or your router reset the connection, why in Germany happens this? I'm just curios.

i dont know why, but something goes wrong here in germany... they want to avoid that people have a static ip, if u want a static ip is very expensive...
a few weeks ago the gouverment had discussed about a reset button to shut down the whole internet in germany... that is crazy... im scared!

they think that digital attacks on country infrastructure can be like a nuclear attack... they think that hacker can control our nuclear plants or whatever... thats the reason, if a hacker will blow up some nuclear plant here, our bundeskanzlerin merkel will push the button and germany is safe its so laughable

hi guys im back to report,

well, spending the whole freaking weekend trying to get hotbird+eutelsat to work but nothing, i connected each sat direclty to the receiver, tried all kinds of options, and still nothing :/, always same old story astra, and thor everything goes fine, it finds the transponders scans them and the channels are saved, but for the other 2 nothing no transponders, no channels, even tried to get a better signal and still nothing, i gues ill use my openbox for eutelsat then xD, or somenoe can recommend me a good reciever for not that much of a high price that cccam 2.1.1 can run on? my price range should be about 150euros, and if posible with HD :P

Wait, let me know better. Did you've connected each cable from LNBs and you didn't get signal from Hotbird and Eutelsat? Then I wish to know if the four LNBs are all on the same dish or you've a different configuration.
For what I read the problems can be two, wrong LNBs positions, if are all on same dish, or bad dish positioning if are each on own dish, also can be LNBs broken. Sure is not changing the receiver you'll solve the problem. If you can't get signals from a satellite connecting the cable straight to receiver this means you've no signal from dish, the receiver is ok or also Astra and Thor didn't worked. Let me know your exactly configuration, I mean how many dishes you've or if all LNBs are on the same dish.

do you want to try a other image? i remember that i had in my start time a lot of problems to search channels on sat and cable dbox... the problem was always the image... it was very confused, i remember that i had a cable box and it was impossible to get channels, very strange because the cable was connected... also with sat box... so before you go crazy on your roof, try the best image in the world

at the first boot of your box you set your configuration... you can chose all 4 satellites when you push on "other" where the query of your sats is " astra - hotbird - astra/hotbird - other "... after restart, i hope your problem is gone...

If he has connected direct the cable from LNBs to receivers and has no signals are there just 2 reasones for this: 1) LNBs are gone. 2) The dish is bad pointed or if he has a multifeed the two LNBs are in wrong positions.

@Flostafa, yea i did that yesterday after i got pissed more and more, and i didnt beleive there it was, ok i didnt get all eutelsat channels, but got a few, with does few i will now be able to adjust the sat to get a better signal and do another search

i updated from
GLJ Image --> Zembradem 3.52

by the way, i believe that my hardware is most likley conected right, i think the problem was with the satallite.xml, but im not 100% sure

So are you getting all the eutelsat channels now? An outdated satellite.xml can be the problem of course but do not forget that there are dvbs2 channels that your receiver might not be able to get I remember one time I tried everything to receive a certain channel but it turned out that channel was in dvbs2... Oh well...
