Re: Cabling
Well I bought a few heads, and managed to close one but wrecked the head, using a few pairs of pliers.
Will prob buy one, but will only ever use it a couple of times. Cheers. Thought there could be a work around.Amiko Alien2+ triple tuner

Re: Cabling
Why not use those connectors that you just turn around the cable instead of the need of a tool ?
I stopped using the kind of connectors that need a tool to be attached to the cable since I found the turnable connectors (that you can remove again and are reusable)Comment

Re: Cabling
If there is not enough slack on the line they may come loose. My cables are not the standard gague, think they are called mini cables, so have a mini type f push on with screw to receiver. There is no crimping of the collar to ensure it won't fall off so it's come loose from the collar at times. Picked up compression connectors to try make them more secure. Ideally need an extra length on the cable.Amiko Alien2+ triple tuner

The screening has to touch the connection also you can get crimp on connections that grip the cable when squeezed with a pliers everyone has a pliers LolComment
