I have a Spiderbox HD9000 with one fixed dish and one motorised dish (each with one LNB)
This is part of the official instruction posted elsewhere on how to set it up:-

The DiSEqC switch you require is just a DiSEqC 2 X 1 satellite switch, the centre connection goes to your spider and I will leave it you you to work out which dish connects to A and B on the switch(If you can'not remember if the fixed dish was A or B.. but it will only take a moment to swap the connections if it does not work )

example:-
Use a fixed on 28E and the motor for the rest.

Thats what I did and it work fine.

I really need to keep 6 fixed LNB's, I already have two receivers and tomorrow I will receive the third so I need the fixed LNB's.

My motorized dish is always stopped at Nilesat 7°W because this satis seen in two boxes here at home, is like a fixed dish, I put the motor just to watch some soccer feeds.

Have tested the amplifier in all possible places but the result was always the same

Tomorrow I'll get a new receiver, the new Octagon SF8 HD (MK 1000-XP) and also hope to have some improvements because of the tuner quality, the receiver that I use now is a Golden Media Spark Reloaded, is problematic.

I have one more doubt before buying the new coax cable, T100 1GHz or T100 Plus 3GHz??

The price difference in 30 meters of cable is very high.

If, as you say, your motorised dish is usually fixed on 7w.
Have you tried bypassing your motor altogether. ie, coax from receiver directly to switch?
just to see if that makes any difference to you signal levels.

Yes I tested bypassing the motor, I'm losing 3/4% of signal strength in the motor.

In the coming days I'll test your diagram to see if I have more signal strength.

u can use a direct cable from any lnbf and see whether d fault is from ur receiver or other peripherial device.

Besides the signal strength what is the picture quality. I have never had above 80% signal strength. but still get 100% quality.

readjust your motor and dish. A Storm may cause a loss of signal strength.

Also have 100% quality in almost all sats but when I lost the 12% signal strength some DVB-S2 TPs were always going from 100% of quality to 0%, that problem has been solved by reducing few meters of the cable.

Now I'm only losing 4% signal strength and next week when I change the RG6 cable for T100 Plus I hope to get this problem solved.

I have two receivers and only lost signal in one receiver, if it was a problem of the dish would have lost signal at the two receivers.


Already got the new receiver (Octagon SF8 HD) but I have a doubt...

... last month I've been tuning the dish of my uncle that is pointed at Astra1 19.2ºE, I used my receiver (Golden Media Spark Reloaded) to fine-tune the dish, after achieving maximum signal took my receiver and connected the receiver (Neomotion) of my uncle, with the receiver of my uncle many TP's lost the signal. I had to re-tune the dish with the receiver of my uncle to have signal in all TP's.

Now that I have a new receiver also have to retune my dishes and LNB's?

I would not think so, normally there is a variation in signal levels between different Stb's
but it is usually just that the signal strength meter varies between them, also some Stb's will have a more sensitive tuner which will also give a different reading, just tune for maximum on whichever one you have installed.
