    how to install Triax multiblock?

I have a new dish (as mentions in another thread) , a triax 88.

I have now the chance to install the triax multiblock holder.

I want to put the first LNB on the holder but it will not enter in all the way in the middle. It just blocks in the beginning of the holder.

Please help , with some advice how to get the LNB ring in the middle.
I have used force but I'm afraid I will break the ring or LNB.

This is a very known problem for triax multiblock.
You need a modification in order to put a lnb in the center of the arm.
Some people redrilling the arm in order to allow the ring to come in the center.
Other people, use a universal multiholder that allow a lnb to be on the center of the arm connected with the holder.
Finaly, there are people that don't put lnb on the center and align the dish as it is.

    I hope helped you

I'm not looking for it, I already have it :-).

is it a known problem? I mean, my LNB holder is stuck in the beginning of the rail, I can't get it out anymore. it's not about not getting in perfect in the center, I don't get that far, see picture
First time I could not put the LNB holder on the rail, then I used some oil, but now it's a little bit in but not far enough. and can't get it out anymore.

        This is the productcode:

You could try an old trick that is used to get wheel bearings into go-kart hubs. The trick was to put the bearings in the freezer, thus making them smaller so that they would slide more easily into the hub.

In your case haramo, you'd need to put the metal rail in the freezer over night so its nice and cold, this should shrink it slightly. Don't put the LNB holders in the freezer, keep these warm. Also put some good oil (not WD-40) onto the square mount of the LNB holder and they should slide on much more easily.

Ok , I'm sorry, it was a misunderstanding dear

I think that the problem is caused by some plastic ends
at the down side of the rings inside the hole.
you can use a thin file to remove them and put them in the rail.

I had the same problem with the exact same kit for my TD88. It was quite a while ago now and can't quite remember. I stopped using mine as I was going to motorise my TD88, the parts are in the shed, I'll go and have a look this morning.

Do you have a problem with all 4 holders or just one? You haven't already got a screw partly screwed in the holder have you?

Re: how to install Triax multiblock?

I still have one of these in the shed, I also found it very difficult to set the holders, only thing I would suggest to get it off is to put the arm in a vice and use a soft block of wood and tap gently on each side to release it, when you get the holder off use a very fine emery paper on the arm to remove the edgesand also use the emery on the inside of the holders, I seem to remember that there is a slight ridge in the middle of them, when you have done this use a graphite powder to try and lubricate the arm. Hope this may help you.

                Regards Mobley3
