Need info on DiSEqC Uncommitted / Committed

    Hi,

I like to use a EMP 8 in 1 DiSEqC switch.

But is not clear what is the meaning of DiSEqC Uncommitted or Committed commands and what they do.

What are the purpose of these settings?

The six setup choices looks like this:
    1. committed,uncommitted,toneburst
    2. toneburst,committed,uncommitted
    3. uncommitted,committed,toneburst
    4. toneburst,uncommitted,committed
    5. committed,toneburst
    6. toneburst,committed

I hope someone can bring some light to this

Thanks for pointing me tho these threats but not exactly the information i'm looking for.
These are all examples and this way I still dont now whats been happening.

      Configuration Mode: Advanced
Satelitte: Your Choice of sat position
      LNB: Lnb1
      Priority: Auto
      LOF: Universal Lnb
      Voltage Mode: Polarization
Increased Voltage: No <- only needed if you have a very long cable
      Tone Mode: Band
      DiseqC Mode: 1.1
Tone Burst: None <- when or in what situation do we need to use this?
Committed DiseqC Command: value is the input of DiseqC
Fast DiseqC: Yes <- why is Fast nessesary please someone explain?
Sequence Repeat: Yes <- why repeating No works also
Command Order: Committed,Uncommitted,Toneburst <- when or in what situation do you need to change this order?
Uncommitted DiseqC Command: Input1 <- value is the input of DiseqC
DiseqC Repeats: One <- you can choos One, Two or Three bot None works also so why is this for?

The main question is in fact I like to now about Uncommitted & Committed commands as I describe in my first post why are there some many combinations and nowhere to find this information.
it's seems to work whatever combination is use
