New dish...Wavefrontier...how to install

Hello

I'm going to buy a new Dish Wavefrontier TD90.

I heard that the dish is more difficult to adjust then the normal dishes.
Does someone have a manual or knows how to configure it ?

It is like old gregorian dishes, it is more critical because has double reflectors so the positioning must be more accurate. I can suggest you to start to mount this just with central LNB and adjust it for maximum gain, then place one by one the other side feeds checking the signal of each one, if needed you can move the LNB also rotating it into his lodging. But all depends from the basic dish positioning, so take care to point for max signal lever the central LNB and then don't move the dish! Just work on LNB positions. Be sure the dish is well fixed so wind can't move it during winther. Also I suggest you the 3M tape Scotch 23 to cover LNB connections, you can see more details on this link:

The most criticals LNB will be the two both far from central one. If you'll have a good signal on those LNB your dish is well pointed. Anyway don't worry it is a dish like others, if you'll be patient and will use right tools like field measuring you'll have a good result. If you don't have an instrument to check the signal you can use your receiver to do this, but ever check for each satellite both polarity, adjusting the skew (LNB rotation) for the maximum signal on both polarity, often LNB needs a little skew to work well. At end use good LNB if you've a dish so expensive, or you've lost your money.

system very convenient for those who want to receive up to sixteen satellites without using an antenna to be fixed motorizzato.questa needs a pile of 60 and tries to fix the antenna as high as possible at the end of the pole. thyroid attention antennas are very heavy and then fixed all right

i'll setup the dish from 28.5, 28.2, 19, 16, 13, 9 East and 0.08/1 and 4 West... Which LNB you recommend to place on the center ? the 9,16E and 0,8/1 West should be the most difficult... or not?

having roughly understood your position and watching the satellites that you have listed I think you should have no problem with each satellite

The center LNB is the less critical LNB because you'll have the strongest signal on it, I suggest you to use Inverto, are good and cheap LNB, I've used in most of my last installations without any problems. Also if you've space problem between an LNB and other for horn size you can use their slim size LNB done just for thid kind of installations. You can watch models at this link:

For me Inverto are good LNBs but if you wanna spend more you can choose ALPS, it is up to you.
Last thing, I suggest you to use a good cable, don't buy a thiny one or cheap cable, the cable quality is foundamental for a good result of installation, the difference between a good cable can be also around 20 db of looses for 30 meters. It is not few!
