ok, try to set different west limits and to confirm them. so we can count sat orders to the rotor out.
        Does the rotor have buttons?
        Please push thanks.

Press East+West buttons together for about 15 seconds. The motor will blik and will reset to factory defaults. Use USALS to get the satellite positions and fine tune with nudge.

            Re: Motor problems

sounds like the motor is faulty . i have had these problems before . and a new motor was the best option. but sometimes a receiver with a bad image can also cause this . check the motor on a tm1000 with original firmware and this will possibly help confirm if motor is faulty . set receiver up for usuals and enter your latitude and longitude .... 5.5 lat west and 6.00 north for long. then test .

That only works on the dark motor on the Technomate branded motors you have to go up to the motor and place a pin inside the Unit to reset the motor

I think I have tried most of the suggestions I have also reloaded the latest firmware, you can push the buttons underneath the motor but they will still only move the dish the same distance from Thor west. Spent a lot of hours trying to mend this much to the annoyance of the wife !.
Anyone recommend a good new H to H motor ?
                Thanks for help

If it is a Technomate branded motor have you tried the Pin reset, this is locates just underneath where the light is push the cover slightly back and insert a pin head into the hole and press for around 3 seconds the light should flash orande to indicate that it has reset the try the east/west button on the other side.

Digicon tried this this with my mate it did flash but did not cure the problem. I think what my friend said makes sense the cogs inside are broken.

I always recommend a Stab motor HH120 i have been using these for years they are very reliable and strong but you will pay a bit more for it than say another technomate motor
