    I believe that is something fake.
    As dear kostis said,is like a wifi antenna in *******

    It's better to spend more money to buy a new lnb with better quality , than to spend your time to do this feed-horn.

        Again...we saw something similar here about one week ago...
        I repeat that things like that, without an accurate project, are meaningless.
        Sometimes they can be useful to prevent terrestrial interferences.

          as rikksow states, adjustment on feedhorn perhaps can improve signal strengh, on extra large dishes.
          i have heard of this idea to improve signals in cyprus (some time ago now) for 28 east,
          an installer in cyprus, has rikksow heard his nick-name, ( the pie man ) as he used new tin foil pie dish, an placed this on lnb to reflect extra signals.

            If the cable is bent at a sharp angle, it can be the reason of decrease in the quality of the signal
