Yesterday, my signal dropped to about 50% for it and I couldn't understand why since nothing has changed. It was overcast and rain though, does that affect the signal especially when you are on the cusp of having any sort of signal in the first place?

Different weather and atmospheric conditions can affect signal on any satellite so getting around 50% snr on your technomate just goes to prove how good the tuner is.

well i finally got this sat one the hardest sat i have tried to find with the signal be strong one minute then weak the next i am getting strongest signal 70% and weakest is 49% it took a lot of manual adjustment but i got there in the end

What channels are you picking up ?

nearly everything but i have a problem with 12640v cinema1 and 2 not got a signal on this one

you wont get those, i been trying for sometime now, some good stuff on there, (in biss) perhaps anyone with a 1.4/1.5 dish can get and confirm.

I thought i would try 12640v at different times of the day to see if there was any signal in the mornings signal 58% quality 38% so i am picking up something but is very weak i will try later in the day to see what happens then

already tried, no good for me, think only solution in the end would be bigger dish, could always bring my 2.70 dish in avatar, from cyprus, but expensive on plane.
will let these chns go, myself, but still viewable in cyprus, along with nilesat etc.

just checked now and signal 60% quality 40% p.s. love cyprus spend a lot of time in limassol lots of big dishes
