there 2 threads about this subject, if you have been reading this thread, i use 7000spiderbox and pick up greek/aljazzera spts on eutelsat3C 3east,
its probably down to your location and dish size, my dish 120cm.
      look below here.
Do not send me iptv/cline requests,

technical or iptv/cline server questions in PM!

      I will not answer!

If Toby is picking it up with a spiderbox then it seems the tuner is fine. You say you have some weak signal so it can only be what Toby said - your dish size. Out in interest, what is the signal bar % for strength when you recieve your weak signal? I can compare it to mine and we will be able to tell if the quality bar is affected by the dish size for sure.

Technomate is known for its high sensitivity tuners so that is what is probably helping you out in getting a weak signal.

        What box is it?

Not just Dish Size a quality LNB like an Inverto Black Ultra will always help, Although for using a dish size of 1.2m and above you really should be using a matched Feedhorn with a C120

It also depends on the location. Its receiveable in the north of England and a 90cm would be fine to receive a few channels.

I did mention this in my post on page 1.

As the term most people use for an LNB is actually an LNBF Channel master 1.2m dish and the Gibertini 1.2m probably the most popular 1.2's at the moment should really have a matched feedhorn and c120 Flange LNB.

The reason for this is a Normal LNBF (LNB say Black Ultra) may not be able to illuminate the whole dish face as in it may only see your dish as a 1.1m or in worst case may over compensate and introduce noise into the signal, and that is why they say you are better using a matched feedhorn for your 1.2m dish as this has been made to partner that particular dish so that it gets all the signal from the dish face circumference but no noise from the outer edge.

This site will explain the differences

Absolutely nothing wrong with the sensitivity of the Spiderbox 9000, I am using one to pick this Satellite up in Dublin, as Toby has said there are 2 Threads on this topic and I have posted a number of times with various bits of info about different transponders and signal strength. I am using a 1Mtr Dish with an Inverto Black Ultra and can get very reliable pictures so it has to be down to your setup. Keep in mind that the larger the Dish the narrower the Beam Focus so it needs to be set up very accurately.
                  Regards Mobley3

Maybe in your location but not in the UK its classed as fringe reception, a bit like what Astra 28.2°east is for yourself

watched 2 films on greek channel star last saturday night, (had enough of olympics on every other chn) english audio, greek subs, ( chns in biss) no glitch, no interuptions at all, for those who tried to get, but failed, dont give up, this bird worth having, and people who are thinking about going motorised, always go for biggest dish possible, satellite installer will always say 80/90cm big enough, but not always the case, bigger dish will always improve weak signals on the strongest bird

Yesterday, my signal dropped to about 50% for it and I couldn't understand why since nothing has changed. It was overcast and rain though, does that affect the signal especially when you are on the cusp of having any sort of signal in the first place?

this bird a strange one, have not tried today, but i have found that the greek channels dont always open first time, then go back after trying others they open and when they do, not one glitch, thats how it is for myself, but lets be glad we got, many moons ago when chns were hard to come by, these would have been very welcomed.
now we seem to expect every chn going, well some do!!!
