Re: Parabol or offset dish?
For 13 east the minum size for your country is 85 cm. offset it can be not enough when will rain hard I suggest if you can to mount 100 cm dish ever offset.
For 7 east, if you wanna receive just turkish beam 85 cm offset is also ok, but if you're intrested also to receive Europe A beam too, you'll need min 110 cm. minimum to get an acceptable signal.
Here you can watch beam coverages of 7 east:

And here is the list of 7 east satellites for various beams so you can decide if are intrested or not to receive Europe A beam (the most wake spot in your country):

Re: Parabol or offset dish?
For Astra most depends from where you live, in north west Turkey the signal is good, but going to Ankara it decrease much. Watch this footprint attached, if you live into zone covered by blue pic, you'll need just 120 cm dish, if you're outside this zone you'll need 180 cm or more, it can't be estimated, you just need to test because you're out of footprint there.Attached FilesJust click on thanks button if my post has helped you

For hotbird, most channels can be received from this reagon with even 80 cm dishes. But it must be setup well though.Comment

Re: Parabol or offset dish?
I live in the second yellow gradient layer. But once here in local, people had too much difficulty with Astra about 3-4 years ago.I just wanted to know if thgere had been any improvement in the coverages, but it seems 180 or more is a must to receive the most used beams on this sat.

Re: Parabol or offset dish?
Your location will decide the footprint.
Your footprint will decide the size.
With most footprints of today and Ku band transmission, up to 1.2 meters offset dishes will do.
With very weak footprints, a lager dish is required and in that case, you go for a prime focus.
Above 1.2 meters, an aluminium or netted dish is advisable because of weight. If you think my post was helpful, please click the "thanks" buttonComment
