Greece leaves from an orbit Company OTE

    Greece leaves from an orbit
The Greek telecommunication company OTE plans to sell the satellite division Hellas Sat within the next six months. The president and the chief executive of the company Michael Tsamaz has informed on it (Michael Tsamaz) at press conference. He also has told that except Hellas Sat, the company selects for sale and other actives to extinguish credits which are necessary for closing next year. Thus, speaking about looked for objects for realization, head OTE hasn't specified, whether the company is going to sell the Greek or foreign actives.

So what will happen to the channels on hellas sat 39east, will they still be available or not?

This will have a huge effect across europe as many of the channels are frequently used by the Greeks...

i dont think that this will effect the channels because the had allready pay so the new owner will have to give money back. the new owner will get the cliends (channels) aslo. but the power of the satellite is not only for channels, the telecomunications will have the most of the problems if thas true.

Has OTE sold its Hellas Division then? This thread was made a long time ago, so it should have happened by now...
