National Council for TV and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine (NTVCU) has issued a warning to a company that currently holds an operators licence for the countrys fourth DTT multiplex MX-4.
According to AKTR and Kommersant Ukraine, the company in question UDTVN has yet to launch the multiplex and after further warnings could lose its licence.
UDTVN has already paid over UAH10 million (907,830) for the licence and around UAH2 million for distributing signals.
Should it lose its licence, it could instead be awarded to a company named Zeonbud, which currently holds licences for the multiplexes MX-1, MX-2, MX-3 and MX-5.
Both MX-4 and MX-6 are national multiplexes reserved for DVB-T and DVB-H services.
The licence for MX-6 is held Ether, which like UDTVN has yet to start operations.
