French telco Free has announced four new 3D television channels to be made available via its IPTV Freebox system. To get the new channels customers will need an HD Freebox and an appropriate connection as well as a compatible 3D TV set, of course.
The first two channels are NRJ12 3D and WildEarthTV 3D, both of which will be available via the basic Freebox package. Later this year Brava 3D will become available as a paid for premium extra. Then in 2011 the company plans to add Penthouse 3D, again as a premium option.
