    Arianespace postpones launch of Astra 3B backwards - the technical checks

    The planned start date of an Ariane-5 rocket, which was to promote inter alia the Astra 3B satellite radio into space, has moved the French space provider Arianespace on Thursday surprising.

    New Astra 3B satellite ready for launch at the 9th April

The satellite will be launched between 18.59 und 19.48 clock time from the spaceport of Kourou in French Guyana (to Central European Time on the night of 9 to 10 April between 23.59 und 0.48 clock, DM reported). Astra 3B will complement Astra 3A at the orbital position 23.5 degrees East, enabling use Astra Astra 1E and 1G, which are currently at 23.5 degrees East to other missions.
