TV technology provider Netgem’s half-year performance was boosted by international sales, while the company saw revenues in its domestic French market fall.
Netgem posted half-year revenues of €74.3m, up 6% on the same period last year. International sales grew from almost nothing to €12.3m following the creation of Netgem Australia and the company’s deal to supply Telstra with IPTV equipment and services. Sales in France, however, dropped by 11% to €62m.
Earlier, Netgem spun off its domestic service provider arm, VideoFutur, to concentrate on its core technology activities.
