UPC Direct repositioning on track
The repositioning of UPC Direct dishes is on track, with over half of the satellite service’s subscribers in Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia now able to receive the signals from the one degree West position.
The process got under way at the beginning of May and at one stage looked as if it might be held up by adverse weather conditions in the three countries. It is expected to be completed in another two months.
UPC Direct, along with its sister service Focus Sat in Romania, had over 500,000 subscribers as of the end of May.
