TV2 head set to leave

The Hungarian national commercial station TV2 is to lose its CEO, Zoltán Várdy. According to realdeal, he will vacate the post on October 1 this year.
Várdy joined TV2 as its commercial director in 2002 and has been the CEO since 2007.
TV2 is backed by Germany’s ProSeibenSat1 Media and has competed intensely with RTL Klub since both stations made their debuts in late 1997. It claimed a primetime audience share of 17.2% at the beginning of this month, as opposed to RTL Klub’s 25.2%.
