UK commercial news network ITN has signed up media group Iliffe News & Media to its video news service.
Iliffe, which owns 28 newspapers, will take a package of UK, world, sports, entertainment and business videos that will play on the 24 websites across its newspaper portfolio. Blinkx will deliver contextual advertising that will run around video content. Revenues will be split between ITN and partner publishers.
ITN has also signed a deal with satirical news website Daily Mash, which will take a video package of entertainment and sports content.
