Spain's Telecinco sets date for women's channel
Spanish commercial broadcaster Telecinco will launch its women's channel, LaNueve, from September.
The new channel will be free-to-air and will contain news programmes, fiction and information.
With this new birth, Telecinco is reinforcing its multi-channel strategy on the country’s digital-terrestrial platform so promoting those contents specially addressed to a female audience, a highly demanded profile by advertisers.
Currently Telecinco is made up of its traditional Telecinco signal, LaSiete (for young viewers) and Factoría de Ficción broadcasting TV series and successful films, either national or foreign ones from all times.
