Last Friday Sudan TV’s satellite signals were jammed.
The Sudanese National Radio & Television Corp broadcasts were on Arabsat, and the satellite operator switched transponders within 15 minutes.
These past weeks have seen massive jamming of satellite signals, mostly emanating from Iran, and usually targeting ‘Western’ broadcasters using Eutelsat satellites.
Transmissions ceased at 6pm.
