kabelkioskEutelsat's German direct-to-cable platform KabelKiosk has extended its HDTV offer: Sat.1 HD, ProSieben HD and kabel eins HD are now part of the package which cable operators can carry on their networks.
The contract with commercial TV group ProSiebenSat.1 has now been signed, Eutelsat announced in Cologne. The viewers are able to access the new channels in the BasisHD package at no extra charge.
With RTL HD and VOX HD, which have been carried since January, KabelKiosk now contains the HDTV versions of Germany's five largest commercial general interest channels.
Since June 1, KabelKiosk has also been offering a pay-TV package with HDTV channels comprising Mezzo Live HD, myZen.tv HD, Fashion TV HD, bebeTV HD and Luxe.TV HD. Subscribers can also sign up for Penthouse HD.
