The Czech cable company Nej TV has added DTT channels to its offer. In doing so, it has followed in the steps of UPC, the country’s leading operator.
According to Parabola, Nej TV will offer its subscribers anything between seven and 21 DTT channels free of charge. Nej TV is backed by BKS Capital Partners and has a presence in over 40 Czech cities.
UPC began a DTT trial in the Czech capital, Prague, earlier this month and plans to offer its subscribers must-carry channels on the first and second multiplexes free of charge.
