Elgato launches Eye TV for iPad

Elgato has announced the release of an update of the EyeTV app for the iPhone to take advantage of the iPad’s high resolution screen and superb video capabilities. Now, EyeTV version 1.1 is ready, bringing full-screen live TV streaming to the iPad.
Like the earlier iPhone version, the EyeTV app works together with the EyeTV software (and compatible tuner/TV device) running on a Mac at home to deliver these all the features to your iPhone or iPad, including watching live TV and change channels anywhere (via a Wi-Fi or 3G connection); watching EyeTV recordings; browse the Programme Guide; start recordings back home on the Mac immediately or schedule them for later and view and edit recording schedules.
